About Hams (Whisper) Android App

Hams app is an on-location mobile silencer or ring volume reducer. The Hams app will silence the mobile device when enter to Mosques or similar places like libraries. It is designed to be used in Mosques  but you can enable it in any place you choose.

Main Features:
1. Reduce or Turn off volume ringing sound when inside Mosque, Meeting room etc.. Turn volume back when getting outside premises.
2. The App supports English and Arabic Language.
3. Compass and Alquibla direction.
4. Auto store Mosques locations.
5. Add, Modify and delete locations.
6. Starting from version 1.6 a save battery power feature been added.

1. What is (Whisper) Hams App?

The aim of (Whisper) Hams App is to reduces or prevents the ringing sound of the mobile in mosques or any other place chosen by the mobile user such as meeting room, work place or other places that requires quite environment...
The application will re-activates the ringtone automatically on leaving the mosque or the chosen place...
The app will automatically store the places of mosques near the device after installation and the user can add, modify or delete sites from the stored list ...
 
2. Hams Requirements.
Currently the application is designed to work on Android devices only..
And so from product [API 21 (Android 5.0) - Lolibo, product in November 2014] and above ..
Activate the GPS system
 
3. App Installation.
Download Hams App from this link then install follow instructions and give the required permissions.
 
4. How to use the App?
First Run:
After installing and running the App, wait a little while for the application to scan and save the Mosques near your current location.
Modify the mosque area according to the size of the mosque .. The application will automatically put 50 meters as the length of all mosques ..
Modify the preferences to suit you such as choosing to mute the speaker permanently when entering the mosque or reducing the sound, etc.
Add and update the data in the next steps.
 
Modifying Location Info:
Go to Stored Locations and select the site.
Take the mobile in the center of the Mosque and wait until Latitude and longitude updated.
Edit other info.
Hit update button.
 
Adding New Location:
From Menu choose Add Location.
Take the mobile in the center of the Mosque and wait until Latitude and longitude updated.
Add other info.
Hit Add button.
 
5. Other Requirements and notes.
Currently, the program is based on limited Google's free API services. So we need your support to help us provide a better services.
