The HANDA app addresses the requirement of management for real-time determination of the status and location of employees during emergencies and disasters. The ability to geo-locate employee status and location allows for a quicker response time for search and rescue, where time is of the essence. More importantly, this system serves as a focused medium for employees and other force multipliers to provide information from the field relating to incidents and events – thus allowing management to immediately get first-hand information that the latter can use in making decision during such critical events.
