About Hawa Badlo for Officials Android App
The Supreme Court of India appointed committee EPCA, mandated to improve the air quality in Delhi NCR introduces the Hawa Badlo app aiming at an inclusive participation of citizens in reporting incidences of leaf & garbage burning, building & construction dust and unpaved road dust and thereby supplementing the municipal corporation’s efforts in curbing air pollution.
The app identifies officials of Municipal Corporation by their respective jurisdictions through geo tagging records in the complaint. On the receipt of complaint, the officer has to provide proof in form of photo tagged with GPS location as conclusive proof resolution of the case.
