Heart Trace Face monitors your heart rate and plots your heart rate on the analog watch face. While you exercise you can see exactly how hard you've been pushing. Set your desired target heart rate and check when you've been in range, lower or higher. Heart Trace Face measures your heart rate and updates the face every time the watch wakes.

Heart Trace Face also helps your workout by launching GOOGLE FIT, MOTO BODY, ENDOMONDO, MAPMYRUN, RUNTASTIC, STRAVA or UA RECORD just by clicking the steps complication (HEART TRACE FACE DOES NOT YET SUPPORT USER SELECTED COMPLICATIONS IN WEAR 2).

When not in Heart Trace mode, Heart Trace Face is a simple but functional watch face with these unique features not found on any other watch face:

^ ANITAL Display: easy read analog and digital design. Combined analog hands with digital display.
^ ROTATING COMPLICATIONS: Heart Trace Face uses the deadspace found on other watch faces to show the most important information and app launchers. The face ideally positions these features every minute so they are never obscured by the watch hands. The complications include: STEP COUNT, WEATHER (MAX, CURRENT, MIN PLUS CONDITIONS ICON), DATE, BPM (WHICH LAUNCHES THE HEART TRACE FEATURE), SPOTIFY LAUNCHER AND GOOGLE MAPS LAUNCHER.
^ WATCH HAND BATTERY METER: whenever the watch wakens the watch and phone battery levels are briefly animated on the watch hands (HOUR HAND IS WATCH BATTERY and MINUTE HAND IS PHONE BATTERY).

Tapping various parts of the Heart Trace Face will perform the following tasks:
* BPM > launch the Heart Tracer. This first allows you to select the target heart rate. The heart rate is shown from 50, the markers show 75, 100, 125, 150, 175 plus the user set target.
* Step Count > your preferred fitness app. The first time this is tapped the app can be selected.
* Date > launches calendar
* Play > launches SPOTIFY
* Map > launches Google Maps
* Minutes > changes the color
* Weather condition > update weather
* Temperatures > Google weather app
* Hours > sets the logo displayed in ambient mode (if available on your device). Setting this to :
'W' will show the weather condition and temperatures in this order: MAX, CURRENT, MIN
'S' will show the step counter
'D' shows the date
'A' shows all of the above

How do I set Heart Trace Face as my watch face? - Once you've installed the app, open Watchmaker Premium, go to 'My Watches' and send Heart Trace Face to your watch.

Why does the heart rate read zero? - Ensure you have Watchmaker permissions enabled

How often does the heart rate refresh? - When in trace mode the rate will refresh every time the watch is in bright mode

My heart rate doesn't seem to be refreshing. - some watches need a fitness app that measures heart rate to run in the background. In the case of Moto 360 it is most reliable to run Moto Body in the background while using the Heart Trace Face heart mode
