About Heliwar - Helicopter Sim Android Game
Heliwar 2.5D Blokstok Helicopter Warfare Flight Sim: where currently, a player needs to pilot the helicopter to collect coins and avoid buildings and planes.
On Android TV players use the remote control and it's 5-way D-Pad to control the helicopter; while on Android Mobiles and Tablets players use the on-screen touch controller and on-screen button - to control the helicopter.
Heliwar released by public demand, since we and everyone who played it found it to be simple yet amongst the most addictive games to play on Android TV as well as on Android Phones.
We made this as an experimental, non commercial game to understand concepts & see response.
Heliwar was made by seeing, re-writing from scratch and re-implementing things we saw in games & demos as well as by trying out our ideas about gameplay.
We plan to open-source it with tutorials and detailed references to direct others also to the things that inspired us and things we learnt from.
