IDENTITY STATEMENT Hillside Christian Church is about connecting people to Jesus, and to each other. MISSION STATEMENT We, as part of the Body of Christ gathered as Hillside Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), exist as a local congregation to proclaim the good news of God, to baptize those who will confess Jesus Christ as Lord, and to make disciples of all who would seek to learn from the guidance of the Holy Spirit. VISION STATEMENT Hillside Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) seeks to teach the Word of God, tell the story of God's son Jesus, and in the communion of the Holy Spirit join together in discipleship and in obedience to God. In discipleship we are accountable to each other as we mature in our relationship with God. In the bonds of our faith, we yield ourselves to God, that we may share at the Lord's table and find our gifts in ministry to our families, community and to the world.
