About hiShift - shift work tracker Android App

App designed for shift workers. It allows to create shifts with several features and to create shift patterns with them.

With the Shifts Management and Pattern Management features you can do all the insert, modify, delete and sort operations.
You can individually add shifts in the calendar or use the Generate Shifts feature to automatically add the shifts by repeating the created shift patterns.
Clean days is another useful feature, which allows you to "clean up" all the information from a chosen calendar period.

Regarding the calendar, you can add up to two shifts in each day as well as a leave and a note. You can also set the working days of the week as well as you can set specific days as not working.
All information in a day is visible at the bottom of the Home, by clicking on the day in the calendar. If you want to edit the information in a day, just use a long click on the day in the calendar.

Special Shifts
When you create/change a shift, you can set it as a "special" shift. These kind of shifts last the whole day and have specific features that make them different from generic shifts
* DAY OFF: it's a day of absence from work, but considered as if working for the daily working hours chosen in the settings. It doesn't use the leave entitlement.
* REST PERIOD: to use possibly after a night shift. It means absence from work until the end of the day when the night shift is over. It doesn’t add working hours.
* VACATION: it’s a day of absence from work, but considered as if working for the daily working hours chosen in the settings. It uses the leave entitlement.
* SICK LEAVE: it’s a day of absence from work, but considered as if working for the daily working hours chosen in the settings. It doesn’t use the leave entitlement.
Example: On Monday a nurse could insert a Night shift from 20:00 to 07:00 (Tuesday). On Tuesday, he/she inserts a Rest Period shift, which will cover automatically from 7:01 to 23:59, (even if it lasts 00:00 to 0:00).
Then, on Wednesday, he/she could insert a Day Off shift from 00:00 to 00:00. The Pattern for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, would be: Night, Rest Period, Day Off.

It is important to note that the app allows a shift management that considers their schedule and automatically provide all the consistency checks.
For instance, you cannot place in the same day a “special” shift that last the whole day and simultaneously a regular work shift, neither you can place together overlapping shifts.

There are the Backup and Restore features from the device and from Dropbox.

* Advertising removal.
* Working time assessment in a period. Displays the total working time in a month, year or chosen period and the total time of the shifts added to that period. This way you can detect potential differences and manage them by adding and changing shifts. In addition, displays the total number of occurrences of "special" shifts: Day Off, Rest Period, Vacation and Sick Leave.
* Working time assessment in the day detail. Info with the total time of the shifts included in the day and the difference compared with the daily working time.
* Working time monthly charts. Displays monthly charts with data about the working time in a chosen period, the total time of the added shifts and the difference between these values. In addition, displays the total number of occurrences of "special" shifts: Day Off, Rest Period, Vacation and Sick Leave.
* Data Export to CSV, to import into Excel.
