About Holiday Countdown (Widget) Android App
Take the Holiday Counter to remind you how close the good time is getting to you. The Holiday Countdown application is a standard widget for your home screen, which provide you with a comfortable countdown counter to show you the days left to the next important holiday in the year. Such holiday could be any public or local holiday, your birthday, anniversary or any other important for you event. The widget supports different beautiful layouts and styles relevant to the presented holidays and shows the count of days, months or just the time left until the event. You can use your own pictures as well.
Currently these holidays are included - New Year, Christmas, Halloween, Easter, St. Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Independence Day, Black Friday, Groundhog Day, Chinese/Lunar New Year (新年, Spring Festival), St. Patrick's Day, President's Day, Waitangi Day, Australia Day and more coming.
Local holidays are shown only for the locale they are celebrated. Still you can always add your custom ones.

Adding Widgets (for older Android versions)
- Long-click on an empty space of your home screen.
- Select Widgets from Add to Home screen.
- Select Holiday Countdown.
- Select the skin you like for the event.
