The annual effectiveness should not exceed 48%. Under the Money Lenders Ordinance (Chapter 163). HS Finance will not charge any extra fees other than loan interest. The minimum repayment period is 3 months and the maximum repayment period is 18 months. The following is an example of the total cost of the loan, for reference only:

- Annual interest rate: 48% per year
- Term: 5 months
- Monthly payment: HKD 1,796
- Total repayment: HKD 8,980
