IDRF (International Development and Relief Foundation) is a Canadian, registered charitable organization, formed in 1984, that is dedicated to empowering the disadvantaged people of the world through emergency relief and participatory development programs, provided without discrimination, and based on the Islamic principles of human dignity, self reliance and social justice.

Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation

When there is any major natural or man-made disaster you can help IDRF support the survivors with urgently needed and life saving items.

Afterwards, join rehabilitation efforts such as re-building destroyed homes, schools, etc.

Development

In a world where poverty overwhelms communities in many countries, with illiteracy, malnutrition, lack of clean water, diseases and preventable deaths running rampant, IDRF provides Development assistance, primarily in the form of Literacy, Health, Water, Sanitation, and Livelihood Development.

Support IDRF with your generosity and caring and, as "People Helping People" reach out and help poor people improve their own and their children's lives.

Above all, help keep their human dignity intact.

Islamic Giving

IDRF accepts Zakat Sadaqah, Fitrah, Fidya and Qurbani contributions and disburses them judiciously, in accordance with religious obligations and Canadian legal requirements.

Donation receipts, tax creditable in Canada, are issued for all donations over $10 Cdn.
