On behalf of the Organising committee, it is our immense pleasure to welcome you all to the Seventh Annual Scientific sessions of Indian Heart Rhythm Society (IHRS), scheduled to be held between 30th October and 1st November, 2015, at the Leela Palace, Kovalam, Trivandrum, India.

The meeting promises an innovative and focussed scientific program that handles all the aspects of Cardiac EP – Arrhythmias, Implantable devices, Recent innovations, clinical trials and future strategies. Adding to the excitement, we have a few focussed sessions on Arrhythmias in ‘Grown up Congenital Heart’ diseases, and Optimisation of 3D mapping in complex ventricular arrhythmias. A postgraduate training programme intended to teach the basics of cardiac electrophysiology to the evolving young electrophysiologists is another feature of the sessions.

We have expert EPs coming in from Europe, Asia and United States, apart from our eminent national faculty. The international faculty include Prof. John Miller (United States), Dr. Kalyanam Shivkumar (United States), Dr. Dipen Shah (Switzerland), Dr. Harren Burri (Switzerland), Dr. Seshadri Balaji (United States) and others.

The resort hotel at the beach of Arabian Sea will offer the perfect setting to this meeting and, the natural, beauty of Kerala - the God’s own country- will create a spectacular stage for this academic session.
