This program is based on the popular NIH software known as ImageJ. It is intended for scientists such as biologists and astronomers as well as DIY hobbyists who are interested in processing visual data so that measurements can be obtained. Uses include quantifying gels, fluorescence microscopy, and color comparisons - all using your smart phone! IJ_Mobile works with files under 2.5 MB and provides quantitative information such as average pixel values, integrated density, plot profile. Images can be used as is or a RGB filter can be applied. Also, two images can be compared in order to transform visual data for quantitative analysis.
