I'mHere has two modes. Journey Mode: This mode posts updates showing your location to your Facebook page during your journey. The frequency of posts depends on the length of journey, it is only really useful for longer journeys. If you would like a text message sending when you are nearly at the end of your journey choose a number to send to, you can enter your own message to send. It acts as a GPS tracker on your journey.

Home mode: This mode alerts you when your phone moves more than 200M from your starting point. If your phone moves this distance text messages will be sent to the chosen number every 5 minutes showing the location of the phone. Initially the phone looks for location every 20 minutes or so, you will see a notification showing if there was a GPS signal and if there was, the distance from the initial location. This distance will vary if you are inside a building as the phone cannot obtain a signal. This is designed for use with anybody that you are concerned for that may leave a location causing concern for their welfare. Note, the app needs testing on your location to ensure vastly inaccurate GPS signals are not obtained causing the messages to trigger, do not forget it will cost money to send messages.
