Vilamoura now speaks to you, is very rewarding and a precious helper to know the whole area, including the Marina and beaches accessible to all.
When loading the app, 9 buttons appear from top to bottom and left to right, 3 on each row of 3 buttons:
Where am I button: Indicates where you are, from the street to the county and even district.
Instructions/information button: These instructions you are listening to.
Help phone button: A line that is available 24 hours a day to help you in specific cases.
In the middle row will be 3 buttons with hotels, restaurants, shops, etc. that in one way or another are prepared to receive all kinds of customers, whether they are people who move with the help of wheelchairs, or people with some kind of visual impairment.
Repeat button: Repeat the text you heard earlier.
Loudspeaker button: Turns your phone's speakerphone on and off.
Note that this system may not have full outdoor acuity, so you should pay the same attention you normally do when not using any technology support.
However, this is a very powerful tool for people with low vision because it gives them precious information about where they are.
The continued use of GPS in the background can dramatically reduce battery life.
