When not hosting thousands of festival goers, Deer Farm is home to wild boar, pheasant and unsurprisingly, deer. The Farm is situated in the heart of the Golden Vale in North Cork, Ireland. It is a family business owned and run by Pat and Miriam Mulcahy. Their venison products have won awards all over the world and they are internationally recognised for quality and taste. They are also one of the few producers of tame Wild Boar in Ireland.
Mitchelstown itself is situated in the valley to the south of the Galtee Mountains close to the Mitchelstown Caves and is 200km from Dublin, 50 km from Cork and 59 km from Limerick. The River Gradoge runs by the town into the River Funshion, which in turn is a tributary of the River Blackwater. The town has welcomed INDIEs' patrons each year with open arms and continues to enjoy a great rapport with our returning visitors.
