The Inside Connections app provides a peer support group for family members of UK prisoners to assist them with the difficulties of a family member being in prison.

It provides reference to family members of UK prisoners, a concise one stop point of contact for everything relating to life in prison, rules, regulations, visits etc.

Automate and make easier some of the processes managed by various paper forms – to be able to complete the forms online and email to your loved ones in prison.

To provide a much more cost effective service for great quality, personalised Greeting Cards and Postcards. This would include the ability to include handwritten messages for that truly personal touch. The reason for this is to make the interaction between the family and the prisoner affordable and hopefully increase the frequency of cards being sent to loved ones.

Encourage the family members to use our Personal Diary feature, logging their thoughts and experiences while their loved ones are in prison. The diary also allows the family members to record and add video links – so that even though they are not there at the time, there loved one gets to share the video of the event upon release (baby’s first step, little boys first day at school – ONE OFF lifetime events that no one should miss).

To promote reform and rehabilitation. Assisting former prisoners with housing, training, work placement and employment.
