About IOT Garage Door Opener Android App
This app work requires an IOT computer that that listens on a WiFi socket (port) and when it receives the correct password (over the WiFi socket connection from the Android app) the IOT computer will activate a relay that is connected to the garage door opener open/close button. This app has a very simple/familiar user interface that consists of a touchscreen button to open/close the garage door. An app "Settings" menu is available to configure the following:
a) wifi SSID
b) IOT computer IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.98)
c) TCP port (e.g. 8888)
d) A secret password (this authentication password is sent from the app to the IOT computer)
