O Ituano Futebol Clube teve sua origem com a expansão da estrada de ferro em SP. Muitos clubes foram fundados no interior do estado por funcionários das diversas companhias de ferrovias, na primeira metade do século passado. Assim começa a história da Associação Atlética Sorocabana, fundada em 20 de maio de 1947 por funcionários da Estrada de Ferro Sorocabana, em Itu. Com as cores azul e vermelho, a Atlética Sorocabana disputou os Campeonatos Paulistas da 3ª divisão de 1955 a 1959, no estádio Souza Lima.unique application of Ituano fans!

The Ituano FC had its origin with the expansion of iron in SP road. Many clubs were founded in the state by employees of the various companies of railways in the first half of the last century. So begins the story of Sorocabana Athletic Association, founded on 20 May 1947 by officials of the Railway Sorocabana in Itu. With the blue and red colors, the Athletic Sorocabana played Championships Paulistas the 3rd Division from 1955 to 1959, the stadium Souza Lima.
