About Jernbanehistorie Android App
App’en beskriver over 100 lokaliteter på og langs det danske skinnenet. Stederne er udvalgt pga. af deres jernbanehistoriske betydning og kan alle ses fra toget, når du er på farten. Foruden en beskrivelse af de udvalgte lokaliteter, kan du se nyoptagelser og gamle arkivfotos af de pågældende steder.
App’en er beregnet til brug på togturen. Den varsler dig, når du nærmer dig et interessant jernbanehistorisk sted, så du kan når at læse om lokaliteten, inden du passerer i toget.
Desuden er der en gennemgang af de vigtigste begivenheder i den danske jernbanehistorie samt en beskrivelse af de DSB-arkitekter, der siden jernbanernes etablering har sat deres præg vores byer og hele det danske kulturlandskab.
Bemærk venligst: Brug af telefonens indbyggede GPS modtager kan forkorte telefonens batteritid betydeligt. GPS-funktionen starter så snart der trykkes på positionsknappen og fortsætter så længe app'en er kører.
App’en fungerer offline, så du er ikke afhængig af netforbindelse.The app describes over 100 locations on and along the Danish rail network. Sites have been chosen because of their railway historical significance and can all be viewed from the train when you are on the go. In addition to a description of the selected sites, you can see nyoptagelser and old archive photos of the places.
The app is intended for use on the train. It will alert you when you approach an interesting railway historic site, so you can when reading about the site before you pass the train.
Furthermore, a review of the key events in the Danish railway history and a description of the DSB architects, since the railways establishment have left their mark our cities and the entire Danish cultural landscape.
Please note: Using the phone's built-in GPS receiver can shorten the phone's battery life significantly. GPS function starts as soon as you press the mode button and continue as long as the app is running.
The app works offline, so you are not dependent on network connectivity.
