Internal updates
Kamino is an App that tracks usage on mobile phones. It is used to help companies and advertisers understand how people are using mobile phones, which Apps are being used and for how long, as well as website usage.
Kamino collects data for a very specific short period of time and this data is completely anonymous. By downloading and enabling Kamino, users are able to participate in research studies for which they will normally be rewarded with an incentive or entered into a prize draw. Once the study if finished, your data will cease to be collected. You can either remove the app or keep it on your device ready for the next study.
Kamino is owned and operated by ResearchBods, a research company based in the UK which is registered as a data controller and a member of the Market Research Society.
All data collected will only be used for research purposes and is completely anonymous.
Here's how it works:
1) Once downloaded, you'll need the unique code that either ResearchBods or a third party sent you to start the research study. We will also tell you how long the study will last for - normally around 1 week.
2) Enter the code in the App to register for your study.
3) That's it! Go about your day as normal and ResearchBods will inform you when your study is over and you can uninstall Kamino.
This version of Kamino Android App comes with one universal variant which will work on all the Android devices.
