H.H. Sheikha Khawla Bint Ahmed Khalifa Al-Suwaidi is a poet, writer, calligrapher and art critic. Sheikha Khawla established Khawla Art & Culture to cultivate interest in the cultural heritage of the world, with an emphasis on calligraphy. As an extension of this mission, she launched K Gallery. The aim is to nurture emerging and established Middle Eastern artists so that they can share their perspectives with the world. Through Khawla Art & Culture and K Gallery, she envisions a world where peoples of all nations can learn from one another and usher in an era of peace, prosperity and tolerance.
