Kirigami may sound synonymous with pop-up art, but the important difference between the two is that Kirigami creations are made of a piece of paper, while pop-up art involves one or more pieces of paper attached together with the adhesive.
In its basic form, Kirigami involves folding paper and cutting, then leveling the cuts to complete a design.
