Rock climbing guide to the crags around Stavanger in Norway by the Stavanger Climbing Club (BRV) www.brv.no

In this edition of the guide the BRV have decided to just include single pitch routes on the whole and the vast majority are fully bolted sports climbs, reflecting the development of the local scene in general.

Climbing in Rogaland offers a wide variety of experiences, from the classic, vertical testpieces of Dale, the gently overhanging crimps of Bersagel to the powerful and steep crags of Sirekrok and Snøveggen.

The majority of the crags in this guide have been developed or re-bolted with support from BRV. The club is the core of the climbing community in Stavanger and its members are responsible for most of the development in the area.
