To connect to the camera, it is necessary that the phone (tablet) is on the same network as the camera. You need to know her IP address, login and password. These parameters are set in the desktop application attached to your camera.
Many cameras have the following default values:
IP address: 192.168.1.10:8899 (or 192.168.1.108)
Login: admin
Password - empty field (not set)
The camera name can not be set. If the connection is successful, the application will automatically assign a name from the data received from the camera.
