KERALA VISION GREEN CARD (KVGC) is a project designed by SAMS MEDIA CONSULTANTS PVT LTD, in collaboration with Rennovation Software, for Cable TV Operators Association (COA) & KERALA VISION to implement Cable Television Operators’ Network Promotion System (CNPS).

The project focuses on the welfare of all the family members of cable TV subscribers. The Project plans to bundle various welfare scheme for these customers and is aimed to and enhance the welfare of the cable customers.

It will also insulate customers from the Oligopoly Competition which could happen at any point of time. This will also protect Kerala investors/shop keepers who participate in the scheme from outside competition.

As of now, there are more than 3,000 cable operators spread across all the 14 districts of Kerala, and in the contiguous hamlet Mahi. They are the members of the COA. COA has been functioning with remarkable foresight in consolidating the base of small networks and helping them pool their valuable resources. There are now over a hundred local cable channels with three or more local news bulletins in each of them, and dozens of district-level channels. As a matter of fact, these micro-level cable channels, most of which are cutely packaged, are significant and vibrant features of Malayalam TV media sector.
