Naff dibentuk pada tahun 1998 dan berdomisili di Bandung. Band ini dibentuk oleh empat orang pemuda asal Bandung. Rusyaedi Makmun adalah salah satu pendiri band tersebut dan mendapatkan posisi vokalis sekaligus pencipta lagu-lagu Naff. Ady mengajak Odeu dan Ade yang awalnya bermain drum, tetapi sekarang keduanya menjadi gitaris.

Mereka pun sudah sepakat untuk merekam demo-demo lagu mereka di Kanamusik Studio di Bandung. Ternyata pemilik studio musik tersebut adalah Dedi, jebolan Associate Degree dan Diploma 95 Wake Tecnical College National Radio Institute resmi bergabung sebagai gitaris.

Mereka telah merilis album Terlahir sebagai tanda kehadiran mereka. Naff was formed in 1998 and is domiciled in Singapore. The band was formed by four young men from Bandung. Rusyaedi Makmun is one of the founders of the band and get the position of vocalist-songwriter-song Naff. Ady invite Odeu and Ade who originally played drums, but now both be a guitarist.

They had already agreed to record demos of their songs in Kanamusik Studio in Bandung. Turns out the owner of the music studio is Dedi, dropout Associate Degree and Diploma 95 Wake Tecnical College National Radio Institute officially joined as a guitarist.

They have released the album Born as a sign of their presence.
