About Lakeland Treasures Android Game

Lakelands Treasures is a fun photographic treasure hunt game to entertain you and your family in Ireland's lakelands region. It starts where you are and once downloaded it works OFFLINE.

Its a Game: There are treasure trails available for, Abbeyshrule, Ardagh Heritage Village, Athlone Castle, Birr Castle, Belvedere House, Clonmacnoise, Emo Court, Roscommon Castle, Strokestown House, and Timahoe Round Tower. You use the app to find treasures at these locations and then take a picture to unlock secrets associated with each treasure.

Its a Guide: The app provides historic information on the location itself as well as things to see and do accommodation, places to eat nearby. It also has a handy feature which allows you to find what is nearby.

Change between Game and Guide by changing the orientation of your device.

Lakeland Treasures is a heritage tourism pilot developed by Ireland's Lakelands & Inland Waterways initiative, (a marketing partnership of Waterways Ireland, Fáilte Ireland, Tourism Ireland, Northern Ireland Tourist Board & Fermanagh Lakeland Tourism) working in conjunction with the Midlands Regional Authority and the Heritage Officers of Laois, Westmeath, Roscommon, Offaly and Longford County Councils.
