Epen Cupen (Emang Penting kah Cukup Penting toh) adalah kumpulan sketsa sketsa pendek humor dari timur yang selama ini dikenal sebagai MOP atau anekdot khas Papua.

Akibat boomingnya film Melody kota Rusa yang notabene mempopulerkan pula para pemainnya seperti Dodi dan Suroso, kami lalu membuat sebuah acara televisi berupa sketsa Mop yang ditayangkan di Merauke TV dan kemudian diedarkan pula dalam bentuk VCD dan sangat laris bak kacang goreng. Hingga kini acara bertajuk Epen kah Cupen toh yang menggunakan para pemain Melody kota Rusa itu jadi buruan didunia maya. Di Youtube saja viewersnya jika ditotal dari semua videonya sudah mencapai angka hampir 5 juta lebih penonton di Channel yang memasangnya.


Tujuan dari acara ini adalah mempopulerkan MOP yang selama ini dikenal lewat lisan dengan pembawaan langsung dari si pencerita. dalam sketsa ini MOP dihidupkan dan dimainkan secara natural oleh para pemain. dari 2 episode TRIAL yang dibuat mendapatkan respon besar sehingga rencananya tahun ini akan dibuatkan episode lainnya sebagai kelanjutannya.


sekalipun isi acara Epenkah Cupen toh berupa MOP yang disketsakan, tapi kami juga tetap memberikan selingan disetap videonya dengan MOP gaya asli melalui penceritaan lisan. namun memang diakui kenyataannya video video berbentuk sketsa lebih mendapatkan perhatian besar dari penonton daripada yang berupa lisan. meski dibawakan dengan logat asli Merauke sekalipun ternyata banyak penonton dari luar Papua bisa menerimanya dan mengerti isinya.

Epen Cupen (Weve Important Important Enough anyway kah) is a collection of short sketches sketch humor from the east, which is known as MOP or anecdote is typical of Papua.

even if the content of the event in the form of MOP Epenkah Cupen toh sketched, but we also continue to provide its video interludes with MOP disetap original style through oral storytelling. but it is recognized reality shaped video sketch video is a great attention of the audience rather than the oral form. although performed with vernacular Merauke though there are many spectators from outside Papua can accept and understand its contents.
