You can see that Titanic has 8 decks: the upper one is for boats, and 7 more decks under it, they are all marked with A to G letters. There are 20 lifeboats on the open boat deck, gallery decks along the broadsides. Titanic has 4 funnels which are very high and this keeps the open decks clean. There were 762 cabins on the ship which were divided on 3 classes. The 2566 seats are provided for passengers, moreover the passengers of all classes could admire the comfortableness that was never seen before. The difference between the cabins of first luxury class and the third the cheapest one was big. Difference was in everything: the size, decoration and the number of rooms. In some cabins of third class there were no sinks and wardrobes, the closes had to be kept in bags and suitcases, the furniture was represented only with steel bed and straw futon. In the part of comforts, luxury and services Titanic could be compared with the best hotels of that times and was truly considered as “floating hotel” of the first class.
