The IEC 60364-5-52 is the international reference standard ruling the installation and calculation of the current carrying capacity of cables in residential and industrial buildings and it is used for calculating sections.
Sections, fuses, circuit breakers, voltage drop and maximum permissible powers in general installation are calculated.
The thermal criteria, voltage drop, overload and short circuit are used to calculate the section cable.
System of code designation for power cables based on harmonised approach of CENELEC(HD 361 and DIN VDE 0292)
