MandALot is a new powerful app which lets you explore the Mandelbrot set as easily as possible.

A particular effort has been made to provide a 60 FPS, fullscreen experience. So the more pixels your screen have, the preciser the drawing will be, with no lag, and an intuitive touch navigation. To achieve this, new features were used, taking advantage of devices' GPU as well as CPU.

Furthermore, it is well known that interesting patterns begin to appear in the Mandelbrot set when zooming becomes great. For this reason, contrary to many other apps which use the GPU to draw the Mandelbrot set, MandALot let you zoom in the fractal until double precision is reached, that means as much as you could expect from a modern, powerful computer. And this, in your hand.

We used new algorithms to draw the Mandelbrot set, using algebra-based speed improvements; and ensuring that no point of the Mandelbrot fractal will be computed more than once.

Also, we worked on design to make you feel immediately easy with the app. Thus you won't see any intrusive ads inside the app, so you won't be disturbed from being charmed by this incredible Mandelbrot set!
