About Map Check Android App
The XYZworks Map Check app is used to enter data from a map, plat, or legal description of a lot or parcel, and quickly produce a plot on the screen and compute the area enclosed. This is used by Land Surveyors, landowners, title companies, and others to determine if the area of the lot matches what the records say. Useful to check the data on a county GIS (geographic information system) or tax maps. You don't want to pay property tax on more land than you own! Works for lines and curves with many options for the type of curve data.
Optimized for phones and tablets.
Designed for international use: distances in feet or meters to produce areas in acres or hectares, and degrees or grads. Enter bearings using quadrants, or north or south azimuths.
