Wild about Info Apps has been involved in the development of tourism and information related apps for many years as well as having been involved in the development of the MaB concept within South Africa . Through the development of the Biosphere related information apps, we are able to bring both of these skill and experiential sets together and help share information on the concepts undertaken by UNESCO Biosphere Reserves and them any principles involved within.
About Marico Biosphere Info App Android App
Marico Biosphere was registered by UNESCO under their Man and Biosphere (MaB) Programme in 2018. This app is aimed at assisting the user in underestanding both the principles behind the MaB concept as well as how this has been translated by and related to the Marico region.
The main features of this application are:
- Information on UNESCO and the MaB Concept
- Information on features and activities within Marico that lend it to the MaB concept
- Listing of Responsible Tourism activities for anyone wanting to visit the area, Each of these listings also includes gps locations, booking information, photo galleries etc.
- Project and programmes undertaken in the Biosphere
- How to report a problem in the Biosphere
- How to participate and be part of the MaB process.
