About May I Help U? Android App
"MAY I HELP U ?" or MIHU is a mobile app that provides legal, medical, counselling and offline guidance to women who are victims of sexual or domestic abuse.
Victims of physical or sexual abuse are often helpless and clueless as to how to handle the trauma and may end up in depression. There is no one place where they can get all the information to seek help. The information on the internet is scattered and not easy to find. With this mobile app, we aim at helping victims of abuse take that first step to reach out for help, in these ways :
1. Legal : Information and details of Indian laws, procedures and the legal actions that can be taken
2. Counselling : Find the nearest medical counselor
3. Medical Help : Find the nearest hospital in case they need anymedical care
4. Support Centers : Find the nearest support and help centres
5. Helpline Numbers : List of contact numbers that can be reached for immediate help.
