About Measure Acceleration Android App
This is an educational tool to measure acceleration in different situations.
Some of the features not found in other accelerometer apps is this one allows you to measure
the maximum values in x and y directions.
Following are some example use cases
- Measure maximum acceleration in subway train or other vehicles
- Measure maximum centripetal acceleration by placing smartphone in a rotating object
- Measure "g" by jumping with your smartphone
The app was developed using godot game engine.
How to use:
- Press "Acquire" to start measuring. 4 numbers indicate the maximum values of acceleration measured in each direction.
- "Reset" button clears the maximum values to 0
- "With gravity" allows you to subtract the ambient gravitational acceleration when the phone is held vertically
