About MediaGear SmartLink Embedded Android App

This app is used in conjunction with MediaGear A/V Data Dock to play movies, games, access USB storage, and edit documents with mouse & keyboard; all while charging your phone. It has the following features:
Big Screen Video. Have you ever wanted to use your Android smartphone or tablet as source video to a large screen monitor or HDTV? It’s not easy because of all the multiple standards and adapters. Does my Android have MHL, myDP, Slimport, 5-pin or Samsung 11-pin? It no longer matters with MediaGear’s Universal A/V Data Dock - you can just plug in and go. Because it’s a software-based solution, and there is no dependence on hardware standards, you can enjoy all the benefits of HiDef 1080p video and full external sound with no lag while your phone charges. It’s the best of all worlds.
Reliable Wired Connection. Wireless connectivity is great - but not always the best for streaming video. Compare A/V Data Dock’s wired 1080p output to Google Chromecast wireless 720p. You don’t have to worry about interference or lag either.
Dual View/Phone Mode. Need to use your phone while an HD movie is playing on the large screen? With the included free software app, you can be watching a movie on a large screen while you make calls, send texts, or check the weather on your smartphone.
