About Mehr Chand Polytechnic-MCP Android App
Mehr Chand Polytechnic College, Jalandhar (MCPC) recognized as one of the centres of excellence in technical education in the state of Punjab is one of the oldest and pioneering polytechnic college of North India. It was established in the year 1954 by the Stalwarts of D.A.V. movement in the sacred memory of Lala Mehr Chand Ji, an embodiment of self sacrifice, honesty and commitment. The first technical Institution of India situated in the heart of the city under the patronage of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi was aimed at changing the face of the old established industrial traditions by creating an effective technical manpower for the society and developing industry. Under the dynamic leadership of an eminent educationist Sh. Punam Suri Ji, President DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi, the institute is scaling new heights and is committed to pursuing excellence along with creativity and integrity.
