This Android App gives you Air Quality information around Melbourne in your fingertips ! The data is updated real-time from EPA Victoria: Environment Protection Authority.
How it helps ?
The Air Quality Index which was computed from the sensors indicate the Air Quality from Very Good (AQI <=33) to Very Poor (AQI = 150+).
This is helpful for people who wants to avoid areas that are suffering from bad air quality.
Also, this is very good source of information if you are just curious on the quality of air around your area.
