The MTNN Employees Multipurpose Cooperative Society (MEMCOS) was borne out of the desire of the generality of employees of MTN Nigeria to organise themselves into "society" to pool resources together for the benefit of one another. The advantages cannot be overemphasised. .
The establishment of MEMCOS was pursued on the platform of employment in MTN for easy administration and control. It is purely an employee initiative and purely employee managed.
