About Metronome Android App
Metronome free version has 2 presentation styles:
Classic Style - simulate a real metronome operation.
Electronic Style - flashing beat notes.
With v2.2, the tempo accuracy is improved. It's been compared with a physical electronic metronome.

About Permissions:
Read Phone State: Stop beating at incoming call
Record Audio: record practicing music
Write External Storage: save recorded audio to sdcard
Internet & Access Network State: for ad only

We are also trying to make a soft metronome acceptable to kids, so they are more likely to practice music with a metronome.
We also try to keep UI simple to optimize tempo accuracy, which is supported up to 300 bpm by extreme simple skin on most devices.
