About Microchip MPOS Android App
Microchip MPOS app is a mobile payment application which works with Microchip specific hardware.
This app communicates to the payment device using bluetooth to receive the encrypted card data.
Steps to use:
1. User enters amount and merchant name to initiate the transaction .
2. Connects to mobile payment device using bluetooth and receives the encrypted card data.
3. Encrypted card data is decrypted and displayed as transaction receipt.
Technologies and algorithms used:
BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) for communication between device.
AES-128bit ECB encryption algorithm for cryptography.
Base64 for data encoding.
