About MobileID for Livestock Android App
MobileID is an affordable solution to collect livestock identification information associated with RFID and barcoded tags. Just install MobileID on your Android phone or tablet, pair with a wireless RFID reader and start scanning tags. Attributes such as age, sex, breed and other identification can also be collected. Data are saved in a format that can be shared immediately with business partners via e-mail, copied to a cloud drive or uploaded to your computer.
Users can try out basic features of the app at no cost (saving data to a file is disabled in the free version). When you choose to save data, a message will pop-up allowing you to upgrade to the full version for $29.99.
Version 1.2.2 released! Location, date and time now attached to each animal record for verification purposes. Also includes integration with Google Maps! **Note, capturing location information is dependent on the capabilities of your mobile device.
