Moto Rider Academy track days.
A track day is an open day to all motorcycle riders and on car track days to all drivers The day will typically be divided in 30 minute sessions and we will divide participants into different skill level groups, normally group A for experienced, B for intermediate and C for novice. There are always Marshalls and paramedics present plus instructors and a free non compulsory classroom session in the mornings. The day on track usually starts at eight in the morning and finishes at five in the afternoon. Riding gear, helmets and gloves are essential and all vehicles will undergo a scrutineering check prior to participation in any of our events.
Moto Rider Academy pre-track training
Pre track rider training is designed especially for those who are new to the sport and feel intimidated with the idea to ride on track among other riders. It is a great way to learn how to control the bike and to gain confidence. A personal instructor usually attends to individuals needs and teaches students all the basics step by step. Theory and practical sessions throughout the day can be expected plus private tutoring later in the day on track if the client feels confident and ready to take the next step, we never force our customers and will treat you with great respect regardless of your skill level.
Moto Rider Academy training days.
Now this is where the real fun starts, on training days you will be entertained by professional riders, regional and national riders and ex champions. Myself (Andre Neethling) a classic superbike champ and Donovan Fourie a botts champ will teach you everything theoretically in a classroom, there after you will go out in five different sessions with a instructor in a small group watching your every move on track while doing specific drills and exercises on the racetrack. We have had over the years hundreds of riders accomplishing awesome results in just one short day and many have touched their knees for the very first time. All riders from all ages are welcome on any decent motorcycles, unfortunately riders on cruisers may not participate, but dual purpose and sport touring bikes as well as superbike and sport bikes are more than welcome to learn the art of control.
