About Multiplication Facts Practice Android Game

Quickly and easily memorize all the multiplication facts. This app acts like multiplication flash cards, but the key feature is the multiplication table mastery checker. Students, parents, and teachers can keep track of which facts have been mastered and which ones need more practice.

As students answer questions, the system automatically records which facts were answered correctly but not quickly (yellow), which were answered incorrectly (red), and which were answered correctly quickly enough that they demonstrated mastery with automaticity (green). That is the real goal: to master facts with automaticity which is where students demonstrate that they instantly know the answers without needing to think about them. The goal of this game is to make every box in the multiplication table green which means you have mastered every multiplication fact.

The memorization of multiplication facts is extremely important. The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics states: "Even with calculators readily available and excellent for many situations, memorization of the multiplication tables actually remains an extremely important tool. In order to understand division, fractions, and ratios and be able to spot many patterns, your child must recognize the numbers in the multiplication tables."

Common Core Standard 3.OA.7: Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using such as the relationship between multiplication and division. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.

Common Core Standard 3.OA.1: Interpret products of whole numbers, e.g., interpret 5 × 7 as the total number of objects in 5 groups of 7 objects each. For example, describe a context in which a total number of objects can be expressed as 5 × 7.
