About Mundus4D Complutum Android App
Mundus4D Complutm is the App that gives you a new way to tour the archaeological site of the Roman city of Complutum!.
It is making a more enjoyable, immersive and interesting visit and help those who like me is hard to imagine the city as it was in its historical setting. Using the latest advances in computer vision, the App recognizes the environment and recreates the Complutum's forum in its heyday.
Mundus4D is an App created as part of my final year project. It is not a professional app!! I try to study the potential of augmented reality recreation of archaeological sites. From the study of its potential without using markers, also the App highlights weaknesses at some points.
For now I can only ensure its performance in sunny. I can't ensure its perfomance at sunset because of the influence of the shadows. I will add support for changing conditions in future revisions ;). Compass sensor is needed...
IT'S NOT READY FOR TABLETS. I'll upload a Tablet version as soon as posible.
