MusicCircles is an app that can help you understand the deep relations between notes and chords in western music. Through the Circle of Fifths, which spans all the semitones in the octave, you can select any mode and key, and quickly find out its key signature, the members of the scale, the chords associated with the scale and look at the chords in a piano keyboard or guitar fretboard.
