The urine 24-hour volume test measures the amount of urine produced in a day. It lets you know whether you are free from Polyuria, Oliguria or Anuria. Average urine production in adult humans is about 1 - 2 L per day, depending on state of hydration, activity level, environmental factors, weight, and the individual's health. Producing too much or too little urine needs medical attention. Polyuria is a condition of excessive production of urine (> 2.5 L/day), oliguriawhen < 400 mL are produced, and anuria one of < 100 mL per day.
My Pee records the total time that you peed. Using the average pee rate, it calculates the volume of pee per day. The average pee rate varies by gender and age of the user!
