By compliance, we mean the ability of the patient to follow the prescribed dosage, time and quantity of medicines that the doctor has given him. By following or complying with the doctor’s prescription, a patient can expect to get well at the soonest possible time.

MyRx is an alarm clock that is designed specifically to help patients remember when they need to take their medicines. It is designed to help patients comply with doctor’s orders.

A patient merely has to enter the medicine that the doctor has prescribed him, enter the dosage and frequency, and these information will be saved in the patient’s list of medicines. To create a reminder, the patient need only to add the times of day and days of the week that he wants to be alerted when he should take his medicines.

MyRx also allows the subscriber to enter the number of tablets or pills that he still has in stock. This information is then matched with the number of doses the patient has taken to come up with a running total of stocks the patient still has. MyRx will then remind the patient if his stocks are running low in order to avoid missed doses.
