Vishnu is a Hindu god, the Supreme God of Vaishnavism (one of the three principal denominations of Hinduism) and one of the three supreme deities (Trimurti) of Hinduism. He is also known as Narayana and Hari. As one of the five primary forms of God in the Smarta tradition,[4] he is conceived as "the Preserver or the Protector" within the Trimurti, the Hindu Trinity of the divinity.

According to Hindu mythology, Lord Vishnu is considered to be the God of the world. The mythology talks about two faces of Lord Vishnu. On one hand, he is shown as quiet, pleasant and gentle. But his second face is dangerous where he is shown in a comfortable posture on Kalswarup Sheshnag (king of snakes).
