This game integrates the dice-based betting elements of Jhandi Munda, the strategic path navigation of Ludo, and the color recognition challenges of the Ishihara test, designed for 2 to 4 players. Each component contributes to a dynamic gameplay experience that tests players' luck, strategy, and color vision.
Components:
Jhandi Munda Dice: Six custom six-sided dice, each featuring the symbols: CHIDI, MUNDA, HUKUM, ETA, JHANDI, PANA.
Ludo Board: A classic square board divided into four colored quadrants with paths leading to a central home zone.
Ishihara Cards: A deck of cards displaying Ishihara color test patterns, used to challenge players' ability to recognize numbers within color dot patterns.
Players:
The game is designed for 2 to 4 players.
Setup:
Players choose a color and take four pawns of that color.
Each player places their pawns in their respective starting area.
The Jhandi Munda dice are placed in the center of the board.
Ishihara cards are shuffled and placed face down near the board.
Gameplay Rules:
Turn Sequence:
Roll Jhandi Munda Dice: Players begin their turn by rolling all six Jhandi Munda dice. The symbol that appears the most dictates the player’s actions. If no symbol is dominant, the player chooses based on the symbols available.
Move on Ludo Board: Depending on the rolled symbol:
CHIDI: Start a piece onto the game track.
MUNDA: Move a piece forward six spaces.
HUKUM: Swap a piece with an opponent's piece on the track.
ETA: Advance a piece four spaces.
JHANDI: Move a piece forward two spaces.
PANA: Move a piece back two spaces.
Ishihara Test: After moving, the player draws an Ishihara card and attempts to identify the number. Correct identification allows an extra move of two spaces, while an incorrect answer ends the player's turn.
Objective:
Players aim to move all their pawns from their starting zone, around the board, to the central home zone. The path is fraught with opportunities to knock opponents back to the start and strategic decisions about which pawn to move.
Winning the Game:
The first player to successfully navigate all their pawns into the home zone wins the game. The game can continue to determine second, third, and fourth places.
Special Rules:
Landing on a space occupied by another player's pawn sends that pawn back to the start.
Strategic blocking and forming temporary alliances are encouraged to enhance the strategic depth of the game.
Game End:
The game concludes once a player gets all their pieces into the central home zone, thereby winning the game. Other players often continue to play to determine the order of finish.
